student gifts

november 2008. this is from mary from my elementary mg class. she came late to class on the last day, the only desk left was one behind mine (usually for the naughty students) but when she came in, i made a big deal like i was super happy to see her, "Oh mary! im so glad youre here! i thought you weren't coming on our last day, i was so sad! but now youre here and im happy! come sit next to teacher!!" tho mary is elementary, she has this really cool maturity about her face, she just smiled like she really knew i was putting one on, i love her. she gave me this notebook, wrapped in shiny silver paper w/pink hearts. <3
